Scope and status
Effective August 8, 2026. Westover Digital Development LLC operates Mortgage Rate Impact Lab. This notice describes the current public static release and its privacy boundaries.

Calculator entries
Calculator entries are processed in your browser and are not transmitted by the application code to an application server. That includes purchase price, down payment, loan balance, note rate, term, taxes, insurance, mortgage insurance, HOA dues, and extra-payment values. This release does not place those values in the page URL.
The current application code does not use cookies, local storage, or session storage, and it does not include analytics, advertising-network, marketing, account, or payment scripts. This is a bounded statement about the inspected application build, not a claim that no network or device data can exist anywhere.
Hosting and network data
A browser requests HTML, styles, scripts, and images through Cloudflare Pages and network providers. Those providers can process technical request information such as IP address, request time, requested path, user agent, transport-security information, and security events. Westover Digital Development LLC does not use the calculator application to collect or sell calculator-entry values.
This project must not state “we collect no data.” A more precise boundary is that the inspected calculator code does not transmit calculator-entry values, while hosting and network operations may process request data needed to deliver and protect the site.
Browser features
- Copy link. The rate-impact and extra-payment tools can ask the browser to copy a canonical page address. They do not place calculator values in that address.
- Print. Those tools can open the browser’s print dialog. Printing and PDF creation are handled by the browser and operating system.
- External sources. Following a primary-source link leaves this site. The destination receives a normal web request and applies its own privacy practices.
Data not requested by this build
There are no user accounts, saved cross-device scenarios, email alerts, contact forms, lead forms, lender matching, payment flows, or connections to another Westover Digital Development LLC product in this release. Users should not enter names, email addresses, phone numbers, account numbers, Social Security numbers, exact property addresses, or loan-document contents into calculator fields.
Future analytics, advertising, accounts, or alerts
A future feature that changes collection or sharing requires a new data map, a proportionate retention rule, vendor review, security review, consent analysis where applicable, policy update, and release approval. Financial calculator entries must not be inserted into analytics events, advertising identifiers, logs, URLs, or third-party marketing systems.
The product must not automatically share accounts, subscriptions, purchase entitlements, customer records, or databases with any other Westover Digital Development LLC product. Any later connection must be separately designed, disclosed, and authorized.
The Federal Trade Commission’s guide to protecting personal information is a primary planning reference for data minimization, retention, access control, vendor oversight, and incident preparation. It does not replace a review of the laws that apply to the verified production operation.
